Shipping Times & Charges ------------------------ Shipping Time: Classroom Maps AtoZ generally ships maps and globes within 5-7 business days. In case of a map or globe being on backorder, a Classroom Maps AtoZ associate will contact you if the time is to extend beyond 4 weeks. If you would like to know status on an item prior to puchase, please contact us. Notice: If your order contains multiple items, you could receive separate shipments. Published and check-out shipping rates DO NOT include additional charges to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or other locations beyond the 48 contiguous states. Please contact us for shipping costs if you are in one of these locations, but still wish to order from Classroom Maps AtoZ. If you did not phone you order in and you fall into this category of location, a representative will contact you once your order is received. We will NOT charge any portion of your order until you approve our extra shipping charges.
Shipping Charges: Most of our items will ship based on a STANDARD size/weight and will be charged during check out. The majority of our map and globe products are considered non-freight and will ship UPS or FedEx.
PLEASE NOTE: If the item number contains a '*' in the item number or your item(s) description stated, 'OS1/OS2', 'Additional Shipping Charges Apply', or 'Truck', additional shipping fees for these odd-size/weight items may require us to contact you for approval. Note: It is typically no more than 20% of purchase price, unless you are in a very rural area, or deliveries to your location are uncommon.
Backorders: Classroom Maps AtoZ orders items from the manufacturer to ship to you. Although we cannot control manufacturer inventory levels, we will do our best to notify you if an item you have purchased is going to have delayed shipping beyond our above stated shipping timeframes. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PACKING SLIP TO SEE IF AN ITEM IS ON BACKORDER BEFORE YOU PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Backordered items may be canceled by calling us: 1-800-953-AtoZ.
Return Policy & Warranty ------------------------ Damaged items: All items MUST be inspected before the driver leaves. Note the damaged condition of the shipment on the bill of lading before the freight carrier leaves, or refuse the shipment-even if the box is simply damaged. We require that you report such maps or globes with damage within 48 hours from receipt. Please call us at 1-800-953-2869.
Return/Exchange Policy: Custom map orders may NOT be returned. Returns on non-custom orders will not be accepted without prior authorization from a Classroom Maps AtoZ associate. He/she will provide you will a number to write on the package you plan to return. When requesting authorization to make any return, convey your your name & invoice date via email. Returns are subject to additional shipping and/or restocking fees. Contact us for the exact return/exchange policy as products can vary. Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Warranty: All maps, globes, and other products from Classroom Maps AtoZ carry a warranty of 1 year against defects in materials or workmanship.
Restocking Fees: 10% - 30% restocking fee will apply on all returns. Shipping costs are not refundable and return shipping fees are purchasers responsibility.
Cancellations: Most orders placed cannot be cancelled and will be subject to a 10% - 30% restocking fee (if items were ordered and shipped). See policies above. Shipping charges incurred for returning items may be the responsibility of the customer. In the event your return contains item(s) purchased during a FREE SHIPPING promotion, your refund will be subject to retaining the fees we incurred to ship the item originally- typically 15%. |
